At Present
Wendy is currently working on a textile commission for St. Helen’s Church, Abingdon, Oxfordshire. It consists of a processional banner and cope. The lettering design for both textiles was based upon the word ‘holy’ in five languages English, Latin, Russian, Greek and Hebrew. Wendy was inspired by the work of Pat Russell, a church embroiderer and lettering artist of renown. The banner design was based upon the C15th Russian Icon of the Trinity by Andrei Rublev.
